I think it has to do with all the laser hair removal, bikini and brazilian waxing fad and of course the more revealing clothing. The talk shows and reality shows also bring forth attention to the female genitalia. For a long time the male genitalia was the buzz. Length, width, erection problems, impotence esp due to diabites, or low blood supply. No one bothered with the females. Well Viagra took care of the males and now we must take care of the females.
