Labiaplasty Patient today

She felt that she cannot wear pants or bathing suit because of the abnormal fullness that appears in the area. She would like a reduction of the labia minora and would also like to remove the pigment present and just have a pink coloration. She will have it done under sedation with a local anesthetic and will have a full recovery within a week. Sexual activity however, will have to wait till 3 weeks from the time of surgery. Will keep you posted on her recovery.
Today the young lady, TF, underwent the surgery. It took about one hour and she left the office after one hour of recovery. Will keep you posted, how she does on her return visit, next week. Helen S Colen MD
